Welcome to the Acalanes Boosters!

If you are interested in becoming a Boosters' Club member, volunteer your support, or assist in one of our fundraising activities, please contact one of our 2008-2009 Board Members via email or phone.

Our Mission Statement:

The Acalanes Boosters’ Club is dedicated to the enhancement of the athletic experience of Acalanes athletes, their teams, and their fans through the promotion of athletics and school spirit, the development of community awareness of their athletic achievements, and the underwriting of sports related procurement in furtherance of that goal.

Where Does the Boosters’ Club get its money?

The Acalanes Boosters’ Club gets its money from several sources. 

• Boosters' Club Memberships

A very significant portion of our funds comes from membership fees.  Please join the Boosters’ Club by signing up during Don's Days or by Mail Order.  This year, we have added two new categories for Membership options that can significantly help our cause.  The $250 and $500 "Super Booster" Memberships will admit 2 adults and up to 6-children to all Acalanes sporting events year-round and come with special Acalanes Boosters rewards.  We are looking to have at minimum 70% of all Acalanes sports participants join the Boosters club this year.

• Corporate Sponsorship

Several generous corporate and local businesses support the Boosters’ Club.  We ask that you note their interest in our children’s welfare and that you support them in their business.  If you can help with sponsorships, please contact anyone on the Boosters Board.

• Boosters' Bash Fundraising Dinner and Auction Event

The Boosters’ Club Fundraising Dinner and Auction has proven itself to be an outstanding and entertaining fundraiser for the organization.  The entire Acalanes sports community comes together for a fun night of celebration and charitable giving to generate funding for the Boosters and individual sport teams.  Last years event was by far and away our most successful, and we look to continue to make this event even more memorable. 

• Boosters' Club Raffle

The Boosters’ Club Raffle can be a huge success and a fine means for raising needed Boosters Club funds..  This year we will again offer a fantastic grand prize which will culminate in our raffle drawing at the Booster Dinner Event.  All Sports teams are asked to help support Acalanes Sports through the sales of our raffle tickets leading up to the drawing.  

What Does the Boosters’ Club do with its Money?

Despite the District Participation Fees paid by every athlete, there are many things that the District cannot afford to supply to our athletes.  The Boosters’ Club supplements sports funding by providing our student/athletes on our 24 individual sport teams with:

• Uniforms, balls, and replacement and special sport specific equipment.

• A full academic year of after school trainer services and the trainer’s supplies.

• Special capital projects, such as the new scoreboards and equipment.

• Acalanes Athletic Director salary assistance cut from AHSD budgets.

• Tournament Fees and other League dues.
