Women's Water Polo Defeat College Park and Miramonte!

Nicole Hughes had all three goals in a 3-2 win over College Park on Monday, and the Dons' completed their DFAL schedule with a 9-8 win against Miramonte on Tuesday to finish the year 4-2 in the DFAL.  That was good for a second place tie with both of the above mentioned teams, and two games back of undefeated Campolindo (6-0).

Men Advance and Women Are Out in Water Polo NCS Playoffs!

The Men's Water Polo Team advanced in the NCS Playoffs with a 11-8 win over California High on Saturday.  The Dons' held off a Cal High rally late in the 4th quarter to advance to the next round to be played on Wednesday November 13th against Campolindo (7th seed, 13-11 record), at 5:15pm.  The game will again be played at the Soda Aquatic Center at Campolindo High School.

The Women's Team faced a very tough Monte Vista squad and were eliminated 7-3.  The Dons' trailed 6-1 going into the 4th quarter and scored two quick goals to make things interesting, but Monte Vista held on for the win.  Congratulations to both team for making the playoffs!

Dons' Women's Water Polo Player is "Star of the Week"!

The Dons' Cassie Hudson was named one of the Stars of the Week in the Contra Costa Sun on November 13th for her 15 save effort against Miramonte in a key game last week.  Read the Contra Costa Cum Article dated 11/13 here.
